content
Gary Cooper describes a typical day in the ski area of Aspen in Colorado , which is underlined with the corresponding pictures. The slopes are shown with different levels of difficulty, which the skiers have to master depending on their ability. The environment and the joys of après-ski are also an issue. The legendary skier and one of Aspen's most famous ski instructors, Fred Iselin, also has a say. He also attracted many Hollywood stars to Aspen because of his relaxed manner.

The production company was Vitaphone Corp. on behalf of Warner Bros. The film was shot in Aspen , Colorado . Warner Bros. made the film at the request of Gary Cooper, who owned a house in Aspen and wanted to promote the ski area that was just around the corner.
A nitrate print of the film is in the UCLA Film and Television Archives, which is home to the University of California, Los Angeles .
The film was first shown in the United States on December 17, 1949.

Award
- Academy Awards 1950 : Academy Award nomination for Gordon Hollingshead in the “Best Short Film” category (2 film roles) . However, the trophy went to Gaston Diehl and Robert Hessens and the documentary short film Van Gogh , which deals with the life and work of Vincent van Gogh .
