The Snow River ( English for "Snow River") is a river on the Kenai Peninsula in southern Alaska .
The Snow River arises at the foot of a glacier in the east of the Kenai Peninsula. From the confluence, the Snow River flows a further 6 km north and eventually reaches the southern end of Kenai Lake . The Seward Highway ( Alaska Route 9 ) runs along the west bank of this lower section of the river . This crosses the Snow River just before its mouth. The Snow River has a length of 45 km.
