Sofia Schulte (born April 8, 1976 in Hamm / Westphalia) is a German long jumper .

Career

Sofia Schulte achieved numerous top placements at German championships . She took part in the 2000 Olympic Games in Sydney , where she failed, however, with 6.23 m in qualifying for the final competition. At the European Championships in 2002 , she finished eighth with 6.43 m. Sofia Schultes best performance is 6.72 m, set up on May 27, 2000 in the Hofbach Stadium in Siegen-Geisweid , at the time wearing the LAG Siegen jersey. With this distance she still holds the Siegerland record in this discipline. At a height of 1.78 m, her competition weight is 58 kg.
