Sofien Chahed (born November 22, 1989 in Hanover ) is a German - Tunisian soccer player . The son of a Tunisian and a German has both nationalities.
Career
At the age of four he started playing football at TSV Isernhagen . After a stint at TuS Altwarmbüchen , he moved to the youth team of Hannover 96 on January 1, 2005 . For the 2008/09 season he moved to the regional league team. In the 2009/10 season he was in the squad of the Bundesliga team. He had a professional contract until 2011. With the Reds he was only used in the second team in the fourth-class Regionalliga Nord . In 2010 he moved to Holstein Kiel , who also played in the Regionalliga Nord. Two years later he moved to the Regionalliga West for Sportfreunde Lotte . Just one year later he became champions of the Regionalliga West with Sportfreunde Lotte, but failed with his team in the subsequent promotion to the 3rd division at RB Leipzig . He then played another year for Lotte in Regionalliga West, which this time finished in second place in the table. In 2014 he moved to third division club VfL Osnabrück . There he made his professional debut on July 26, 2014 (1st matchday) when he was in the starting lineup in the 1: 3 home defeat against Energie Cottbus . For the 2016/17 season, the Berlin AK 07 announced the commitment of Chahed. A year later he moved to the regional league club VfV 06 Hildesheim .
He is often confused with Sofian Chahed as they have almost the same names and played in the same club for some time.
