Soccer
For decades, the footballers only played at district level before they were promoted to the district class for the first time in 1988. Six years later, the team rose to the district league. In 2000 the old warm books were runner-up there and, after a 2-1 playoff win over SC Twistringen, made it into the Hanover regional league . The jump into the second highest amateur league in Lower Saxony turned out to be too big and the TuS had to go back down to the district league after a year.
With one point behind the TuS Wettbergen , the old warm books were runner-up in the district league in 2009. Three years later the TuS footballers relegated to the district league after the team failed in the relegation at SV Obernkirchen . Since the rise in 2014, the team played in the district league, before it went back down to the district league two years later.
