Solonka ( Ukrainian and Russian Солонка , Polish Sołonka ) is a village in the center of the Ukrainian Lviv Oblast with about 3300 inhabitants (2001).

The first time in the 15th century (other sources after 1433) in writing mentioned village is located in the historical landscape of Galicia on the banks of Schtschyrka ( Щирка ), a 46 km, left tributary of the Dniester , 13 km north-east of Rajonzentrum Pustomyty and 12 km south of the Lviv Oblast Center .

The M 06 / E 471 trunk road runs through the village .

Until 2017, Solonka was the administrative center of the 5.72 km² district council of the same name in Pustomyty district , which also included the villages of Malechkovichi and Nahorjany . On October 29, 2017, the village became the center of the newly founded rural community of Solonka ( Солонківська солонківська сільска silska hromada ), this includes also the 11 villages Derewatsch ( Деревач ) Chorosno , Lypnyky ( Липники ) Maletschkowytschi ( Малечковичі ) Nahorjany ( Нагоряни ) Nowosilka ( Новосілка ) Pidsadky ( Підсадки ) Pidtemne ( Підтемне ) Porschna ( Поршна ), Subra and Rakovets ( Раковець ).
