Sophie Hartmann (writer)
Sophie Hartmann (also: Sofie Hartmann , pseudonyms : Linda Collins , Phyllis Seymour ; born January 30, 1901 in Mühldorf am Inn as Sophie Porzelt ; † November 7, 1967 in Rosenheim ) was a German writer .
Life
Sophie Hartmann worked as a bookseller in Munich after breaking off her studies in literary history . She later lived with her husband in the Upper Bavarian town of Riedering . Her son, the writer Helmut Hartmann (pseud. Henry Seymour ), was born in Stuttgart in 1931. From 1938 she published numerous entertainment novels , mainly from the genres of women's and homeland novels , as well as some books for young people . A significant part of Hartmann's works was published in bound form and as a booklet .
