Sotero Phamo
Sotero Phamo (born November 23, 1943 in Hoya ) is Bishop Emeritus of Loikaw .
Life
Sotero Phamophone was ordained a priest on March 18, 1972 . Pope John Paul II appointed him Bishop of Loikaw on November 14, 1988.
He was ordained episcopate on April 22nd of the following year by the Bishop of Taunggyi , John Baptist Gobbato PIME ; Co- consecrators were Abraham Than , Bishop of Kengtung , and Isaac Danu , Bishop of Toungoo .
During the vacancy in the Archdiocese of Yangon from September 30, 2002 until the appointment of the new archbishop on May 24, 2003, he was the diocesan administrator of the archdiocese.
Pope Francis accepted his early resignation on April 26, 2014.
