Souleymane Diamoutene (born January 30, 1983 in Sikasso ) is a former Malian football player who played on the position of defender.

Souleymane Diamoutene moved in the 2001/02 season for the first time abroad to AS Lucchese Libertas in Serie C 1, where he stayed two seasons before he was loaned to AC Perugia for the 2003/04 season . However, since AC Perugia relegated to Serie B at the end of the season , he moved to Serie A club US Lecce , where he was then part of the regular formation until he was loaned to AS Roma in January 2009 . After the loan period ended, he was loaned out again, this time to AS Bari .

At the beginning of 2012 he moved to Bulgaria to join Levski Sofia . In the summer of 2012, his contract was not renewed. He was without a club for a year before joining Lupa Roma FC in the summer of 2013 . In 2015 he played for Fidelis Andria . In 2016 he joined the Maltese first division club Gżira United .

He currently plays regularly for the Mali national team .
