South Norfolk is a district in the county of Norfolk in England . The administrative seat is Long Stratton ; other important places are Brooke , Costessey , Diss , Loddon , Mulbarton , Newton Flotman , Poringland , Pulham Market and Wymondham .

The district was formed on April 1, 1974 and was formed from the merger of the Urban Districts Diss and Wymondham and the Rural Districts Deepwade, Forehoe and Henstead and Loddon.
