Seat and District of the Court

The social court (SG) has its seat in Dessau . The social court is locally responsible for social law disputes from the independent city of Dessau-Roßlau and the districts of Anhalt-Bitterfeld and Wittenberg . It is one of currently (2012) three social courts in the district of the State Social Court of Saxony-Anhalt.

The court is located in the Anhalt Justice Center south of the main train station at Willy-Lohmann-Straße 29 in 06844 Dessau-Roßlau .

Currently (May 2012) there are 24 chambers at the Dessau-Roßlau Social Court that decide on the pending proceedings. The chambers are presided over by one of the currently 15 professional judges.

The State Social Court of Saxony-Anhalt in Halle and the Federal Social Court in Kassel are superordinate to the Social Court of Dessau-Roßlau .
