Shqipon Bektasi , also Scipon Bektasi or Shqipon Bektashi , (born September 14, 1990 in Waldshut-Tiengen ) is a Kosovar football player who also has German citizenship.

society

Bektasi started playing soccer at FC Tiengen 08 at the age of five and joined the youth department at SC Freiburg in 2004 from SV 08 Laufenburg . Under the U-19 coach Christian Streich , he won the German A-Junior championship in 2008, scoring the 2-0 goal in the final against VfL Wolfsburg. A year later, he won the DFB club cup with a win on penalties against Borussia Dortmund, Bektasi was one of the six successful penalty takers at SC Freiburg. For the 2009/10 season he moved to the second team playing in the Regionalliga, but made his Bundesliga debut for SC Freiburg on October 17, 2009 by substituting for FC Bayern Munich. In the following year he remained a regular player in the U-23 and only came to a further use in the professional team.

For the 2011/12 season he was signed for a year on loan from third division club 1. FC Heidenheim . After an initial injury, he made ten league appearances without scoring until the winter break. Although two regular strikers were out in the first half of the season, the club relied on new signings ( Michael Thurk , Patrick Mayer ), Bektasi was deleted from the professional squad and transferred to the second team of Heidenheim in the Württemberg Association League.

After returning to Freiburg in the summer of 2012, Bektasi moved to the regional league team Wormatia Worms in early September 2012 . There he signed a one-year contract until the end of June 2013. He scored ten goals in 25 missions, after which he was committed in the summer of 2013 by league rivals SV Waldhof Mannheim . He was used 20 times for the Waldhöfern in the 2013/14 season and scored four goals. After four missions in the 2014/15 season, he agreed with the club to terminate his contract, which ran until June 30, 2015, because he no longer felt comfortable in Mannheim and in the team.

Bektasi started playing for KSV Hessen Kassel on September 1, 2014 and played his first game on September 5, 2014 (scorer for the 1-0 final against Elversberg). For the 2016/17 season he moved to the Stuttgarter Kickers and from there to the south-west regional division TSV Steinbach . On May 21, 2018, he won the Hessen Cup with TSV Steinbach and thus made it into the DFB Cup. In December 2018 it was announced that Bektasi's contract with TSV had been terminated.

On January 8, 2019 was Oberliga Bahlinger SC obligation Bektasis known. He signed a contract for 3.5 years until the end of the 2021/22 season.

National team

On June 10, 2010, Bektasi played for the Kosovar national football team in a test match at the Swedish club Halmstads BK (4: 4). In the 39th minute he scored the goal for the interim 3-1 lead.
