The Sredni Jegorlyk ( Russian Сре́дний Егорлы́к , "Middle Jegorlyk") is a left tributary of the Western Manych in the Russian Oblast of Rostov .

The Sredni Jegorlyk rises west of Novorogowskaya . It flows through the Manych lowland in a predominantly eastern direction. It passes the middle town of Salsk and finally flows into the Western Manych, which is dammed up to form the Proletarsk reservoir, at Ekaterinovka . The Jegorlyk flows into the reservoir about 10 km further east.

The Sredni Jegorlyk has a length of 129 km. It drains an area of ​​2360 km². The river is mainly fed by the snowmelt . The mean discharge 19 km above the mouth is 0.7 m³ / s. The river dries up about 1–2 months a year.
