Stéphane Dalmat (born February 16, 1979 in Joué-lès-Tours ) is a former French football player of Martinique descent.

Career

Dalmat's professional career began in the summer of 1998 with RC Lens in the French premier league. The following year he moved to Olympique Marseille . But even there, it did not stay long, and in the following season he signed for Paris Saint-Germain before he again left the club after the first round and in the Italian Serie A with Inter Milan hired. There it held the "Wandervogel" for three and a half years until August 2003. In September he was loaned to the traditional English club Tottenham Hotspur . But returned at the end of the season back to Inter, which loaned him back to his home country for the 2004/05 season. There he joined Toulouse FC , but stayed with this club for only one year before joining Racing Santander in Spain in the following season . But he wasn't happy there either and he was drawn back to France for the second time. This time he signed with Girondins Bordeaux , where he made 13 league appearances. Free transfer, he left the port city after just one year to FC Sochaux . There he became a regular player straight away and ran in 36 league games in 2007/08.
