The Stüwe Gully ( English ) is a steep-walled gorge on the Ingrid Christensen coast of the East Antarctic Princess Elisabeth Land . In the Larsemann Hills , it lies at the seaward end of a valley that connects the eastern shore of Lake Burgess with the Thala Fjord .
The Antarctic Names Committee of Australia named it after the geologist Kurt Stüwe from the University of Melbourne , who carried out research in this area in the Antarctic summer of 1987.
