The former Catholic chapel Saint-Blaise in Les Baux , a French commune in the Bouches-du-Rhône department in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur region , was built in the 12th century. The church has been a protected cultural monument ( Monument historique ) since 1904 .

history

The chapel was from the guild of weavers built and its patron saint , Saint Blaise , consecrated . In the 18th century, which now has been profaned building converted to the guild house of the weavers' guild.

architecture

The small chapel is made of stone and covered by a gable roof with clay tiles. On the west facade is the portal with tall arch stones and an oculus above . A roof turret with a bell sits on the gable .
