The Evangelical Lutheran listed St. Viti Church is in Hillerse , a municipality in the Gifhorn district in Lower Saxony . The parish Hillerse part of the church district Gifhorn in Sprengel Lüneburg the Evangelical Lutheran Church of Hanover .

The hall church was built around 1500 from rubble stones . The church tower , which has a pyramid roof , stands in the northeast next to the nave, which is covered with a gable roof . In it hangs a church bell that Heinrich von Kampen cast in 1495 . A winged altar from the 2nd half of the 15th century belongs to the church furnishings . In the Shrine enthroned Virgin Mary and God the Father . On each side of the wings there are five figures of apostles . The tall three-part predella originally had a carved Pietà in the middle , which is now set up in a wall niche . In 1962 the community hall was added to the west .
