The Evangelical Lutheran Church of St. Andreas is located in Mitteldorf , a district of the town of Bleicherode in the Nordhausen district in Thuringia . The Church of St. Andrew is part of the parish Wipperdorf the parish area Wipperdorf in Kirchenkreis Südharz the Evangelical Church in Central Germany .

The small aisle church made of natural stone masonry , built at the beginning of the 13th century, has a retracted choir with a retracted apse and the church tower to the west. The church was baroque between 1723 and 1727 . The top floor of the tower is made of timber framing that is partially slated . An eight-sided pointed helmet sits on it . Two bells hang in the tower , one from 1353, the other from 1438. The nave has galleries on three sides and is spanned with a groin vault, the broad, pointed archHas belt arches . A pressed, pointed triumphal arch separates the nave from the choir.
