St. Anna (Dreierwalde)
The Catholic parish church of St. Anna is a listed church building in Dreierwalde , a district of Hörstel , a town in the Steinfurt district in North Rhine-Westphalia .
History and architecture
The church was first mentioned as a chapel in 1525 .
The core building was erected in 1509 as a one- bay vaulted hall with a five-sided choir . Extensions were made in 1771 and 1947-1949. The sacristy was lengthened and the gable was renewed in its old form.
Furnishing
- Vespers picture from a Westphalian workshop from the beginning of the 16th century
- Font in eight-sided goblet shape with stonemason's mark from the 16th century
The organ was built in 1865 by the organ builder Karl Krämer (Osnabrück).
