The Roman Catholic Church of St. Antonius in Deubach was built in 1706.

history

The first church recorded in Deubach was built in 1706. The church at that time was only built with wood. On June 14, 1846, an independent parish was set up in Deubach so that it became independent of the Königshofen parish. The old church, which had since become dilapidated, was replaced by a new building in 1877–1879. The whole village was involved in this new construction, the church was finally consecrated to St. Anthony of Padua . In 1922 the new organ was inaugurated. The church, which was damaged in wars, was renovated in 1955 and 1985. In 1987 the new altar was consecrated by Bishop Kuhnle from Rothenburg . To this day, the church is regarded as a product of the voluntary commitment of the citizens of Deubach.

Furnishing

Some saints can be found in the church, for example Antonius of Padua, Rita, Anna, Elisabeth, Joseph of Nazareth , Barbara, Aegidius, Wendelin , Martin, Herz Jesu and Herz Mariä.

Bells

There are five bells in the Church of St.Antonius in Deubach. They are consecrated to the following saints: the Holy Trinity , Joseph of Nazareth, Wendelin, Sebastian and Maria Frieden .
