Parish Church of St. Cyriacus

The Catholic parish church of St. Cyriakus is a listed church building in Götzenkirchen , a district of Kerpen in the Rhein-Erft district ( North Rhine-Westphalia ).

History and architecture

The simple brick hall with rounded east corners was built in 1779. The west tower crowned by a tail hood is in front. A flat mirrored ceiling was drawn inside. The three altars in simple rococo shapes were made in 1780, the altar leaves are from another time. The cast bronze baptismal font is marked 1626. The pulpit from the end of the 17th century was donated in 1784 by the abbey church in Knechtsteden .
