St. Cyriakus (Schallenburg)
The Protestant village church of St. Cyriakus is located in the Schallenburg district of the city of Sömmerda in the Sömmerda district in Thuringia .

This village church was first mentioned in documents in 1387.
The western nave of the hall church and the church tower are probably from the late Gothic period . Since 1826 the tower has had a pointed hood from this period. Before that he had a gable roof . The ceiling of the nave is adorned with figures and paintings on the theme of the Trinity and the Last Judgment . It was painted in the 18th century.
A simple pulpit altar is located in the polygon with decorations and in the late Gothic sacramental niche with the handkerchief of Christ .
The baptismal font from the Romanesque is probably from the Middle Ages .
The church is entered in the list of monuments of the Sömmerda district.
