George's Church

The St. Georg Church is a Roman Catholic church in Gnotzheim , a market town in the Weißenburg-Gunzenhausen district in Central Franconia . The church consecrated to St. George belongs to the diocese of Eichstätt and is registered as an architectural monument in the Bavarian list of monuments under monument number D-5-77-133-2 . The postal address is Kapellbuck 10 .

The church is located on the edge of the town center at a height of 458 meters above  sea ​​level . The hall church is a baroque new building by Francesco de Gabrieli and was built between 1725 and 1727. The construction manager was Johann Rigalia the Younger .
