In 1696 a new organ was installed. The existing baptismal font was placed in front of the entrance door in 1698 due to lack of space. This was followed by the installation of the new pulpit over the altar . In 1703 the church interior was painted and decorated with Christian motifs. In 1710 the nave was repaired. In 1714 the church received new windows and in 1715 the facade was overhauled . The confessional was installed behind the altar . In 1747 the citizens restored the artistic painting. New galleries and wooden benches were then built .

A tower anchor was due in 1884 to give the tower more stability.

In 1860 an extension of the Gottesacker became necessary.

The tower button was repaired in 1865. Lightning struck in 1888 without causing any major damage. In 1901 there was another lightning strike with consequences.

The next re-piling of the tower and roof with the necessary redesign took place in 1969. In 1980 the belfry was restored. In 1990 the church received an electric bell system.

In 2001 the church was closed due to the risk of collapse. Therefore, on May 26, 2003, an association for the preservation of the church was founded.
