description

A chapel was first mentioned in 1533, which belonged to the Lausnitz monastery . That's when she got her name.

Today's hall church was built in 1743 using older components. A mighty ridge turret rises from the gable roof in the east and is covered with a hipped roof.

In the interior it has a circumferential gallery and is covered with a colored wooden beam ceiling. The pulpit altar on the east side is colored. The carved baptismal angel in the chancel goes back to the time it was built.

The organ from 1878 with 12 registers , divided into 2 manuals and pedal , comes from Friedrich Ladegast . It was originally part of the teachers' seminar in Altenburg and was moved to Tautenhain in 1920.

In 2005 the church was renovated outside and inside and in 2006 the organ was also overhauled.
