history
The new Freudenberg Laurentius Church was built in 1957 as a spacious hall church made of local sandstone after the Freudenberg community continued to grow and the old church finally became too small.
The old and new Laurentius Church belong to the pastoral care unit Freudenberg, which has been assigned to the Tauberbischofsheim deanery of the Archdiocese of Freiburg since a deanery reform on January 1, 2008 .
