description

The hall church was built in 1610 using parts of a previous building. In 1863, the square choir tower was given an upper floor made of half-timbering , on which a slate-covered , pointed, octagonal helmet sits, which is crowned by a tower ball . The nave is covered with a gable roof.

The choir and the nave are spanned throughout with a wooden barrel vault. There are galleries on three sides and two-storey in the west. The beginnings of a cross vault can still be seen in the interior . The church furnishings include a pulpit altar from the 1st quarter of the 18th century. The bones of the von Rüxleben family lie in an inaccessible crypt under the church . The organ with 10 registers , divided into a manual and pedal , was created in the 19th century by an unknown organ builder .
