The Roman Catholic Church of St. Michael is a church in the Bavarian town of Kützberg , a district of the place Poppenhausen in the Lower Franconian district of Schweinfurt . It is one of the architectural monuments in Poppenhausen and is registered under the number D-6-78-168-49 in the Bavarian list of monuments . The church is dedicated to the Archangel Michael .

history

The first church building in the village was built in 1418.

The steeple of St. Michaels Church was built in 1601 in the Julius Echter style . The nave of the church at that time was replaced by the current nave of the church in 1832.

The altars were built around 1715 and come from Höchst am Main . The classicist side altars were built in the 18th century, the pulpit around 1730.
