St. Michaelis Church in Groß Munzel

The St. Michaelis Church in Groß Munzel , a district of the city of Barsinghausen near Hanover , was rebuilt between 1801 and 1804 after it burned down completely in a village fire in 1787. It is located at Am Steinhof 2 and belongs to the Süd-Land region in the Evangelical Lutheran church district of Neustadt-Wunstorf .

The church is kept bright inside and has a circumferential gallery over the aisles . The organ gallery is included in the western area . On the altar there is a sculpture that depicts the Last Supper of Jesus with his disciples. A man-sized wooden sculpture depicting the battle of Archangel Michael , who defeated Lucifer in the form of a dragon, stands at the north exit of the nave .
