description

The three- axis hall building with a gable roof was built on the site of a previous building. The five-storey east tower with a clock tower is closed off by a curved pyramid roof. The nave and tower have a toothed corner cuboid. The rectangular windows and the portal are framed by the house , as is the door to the sacristy. A sundial is attached to the right above the portal. In the west, a covered staircase leads to the gallery .

Inside there is a two-column baroque altar on the east wall. The altarpiece shows a gloomy landscape, in front of it a cross with an expressive Christ, in the elevator the figure of the risen one. To the left of the altar a door leads to the sacristy in the lower floor of the tower. To the right of the altar is a baptismal font. The pulpit is attached to the eastern south wall. A gallery rests on circular columns on the north and west sides.

Behind the late medieval arched gate of the northern cemetery wall, a staircase leads up to the cemetery and the church.

In front of the staircase on the west side, there is a chilled iron bell cast on September 1, 1948 by the tower clock factory and bell foundry JF Weule in Bockenem am Harz.
