St. Petri

The Evangelical Lutheran , listed village church of St. Petri is in Oberdorf , a district of the town of Bleicherode in the Nordhausen district in Thuringia . The parish Wipperdorf belongs to the parish area Wipperdorf in Kirchenkreis Südharz the Evangelical Church in Central Germany .

The simple baroque hall church was built from natural stone masonry in 1726 instead of a previous building. It has a retracted steeple in the West, the saddle roof transversely of the hipped roof of the nave is arranged. The interior of the tower's ground floor is part of the nave , which is covered with a painted wooden barrel vault. The two-storey galleries are on three sides. The pulpit altar is baroque.
