The west tower , which is essentially Romanesque, has been preserved from the previous building from the 12th century . The nave was rebuilt in the 15th century. At the same time, the tower was probably clad with ashlar masonry and raised by one storey, the helmet was put on in 1893. The east part of the late Gothic hall consists of a choir in the 3/8 end and a transept. The nave walls are structured by three-lane tracery windows and buttresses. The old and the new part are unified by the same shapes and a continuous steep roof. A ribbed vault was drawn into the nave , whose late Gothic tendril painting was exposed in 1961 in fragments.
Furnishing
The stone high altar retable was made by Heinrich Wörmann in 1876.
The sacraments and lavabons are from the second half of the 15th century. It comes from second hand. The figures were acquired after 1893.
The stone figure of St. Sebastian was created in the first half of the 18th century.
organ
The organ goes back to an instrument that was built in the first half of the 18th century (probably 1724) by an unknown organ builder. Only the baroque case of this instrument is left today. Today's organ was built in 1982 by the organ builder Friedrich Fleiter (Münster). The slider chest instrument has 34 registers on three manuals and a pedal. The game actions are mechanical, the stop actions are electric.
