St. Vitus (Staudach)
The Catholic branch church St. Vitus in Staudach , a district of the Münsing community in the Bad Tölz-Wolfratshausen district ( Bavaria ), was built at the beginning of the 16th century. The church, which is next to a single farm, is a protected architectural monument .
architecture
The flat-roofed hall building was redesigned in a neo-Gothic style in 1862 and received a mesh vault on consoles . The roof turret is crowned by a pointed helmet. The choir that has not been drafted has a five-eighth closing . The lead glass windows depict Saint George and Our Lady .
Furnishing
The high altar from the beginning of the 16th century has carved figures of St. Vitus , Mary Magdalene and John the Baptist . On the north wall of the choir there is a rosary Madonna marked with the year 1663. On the nave wall is a panel painting depicting the fourteen helpers in need, which is dated around 1630.
