St. Willehadi (Osterholz-Scharmbeck)
The St. Willehadi is an Evangelical Lutheran church in Osterholz-Scharmbeck , district of Scharmbeck. Their patron was the Holy Willehad . It belongs to the Hanoverian Sprengel Stade . It was founded by Bishop Ansgar in 850 AD. The parish includes the districts of Scharmbeck, Buschhausen, Westerbeck and the villages of Hülseberg , Ohlenstedt and Garlstedt and has around 9600 members.
history
The St. Willehadi Church is located in the city center of Osterholz-Scharmbeck. The first church was built from wood in 850 and dedicated to Saint Willehad, the first bishop of Bremen. This makes it the oldest church in the region. In 1150 the church was replaced by a new building made of field stones , the tower walls of which have been preserved to this day.
Due to the rapidly growing population in the region and the ever increasing number of members of the community, the church was finally expanded to its current size in 1745.

The organ of the St. Willehadi Church was built by the organ builder Erasmus Bielfeldt in two construction phases (1731–34 and 1745). It has been preserved almost true to the original to this day and has 23 stops on two manuals and pedal . It has the following disposition :
