National Championship of Piauí (women's football)

The national championship of Piauí for women's football ( Portuguese Campeonato Piauiense de Futebol Feminino ) is the club championship in women's football of the state of Piauí in Brazil , which has been held since 2008 by the Federação de Futebol do Piauí (FFP) .

The state championship was established in 2008 by the FFP to determine a participant for the Copa do Brasil Feminino, which was held for the first time that year . Since 2017, the qualification for the second division (Série A2) of the Brazilian championship has been decided through them . The competition also operates under the name Copa Piauí de Futebol Feminino.
