The Stallauer Weiher is an artificial lake between Bad Tölz and Bad Heilbrunn , it is dammed on the west side. The lake drains via the Stallauer Bach , then Reindlbach and finally the Loisach .
The pond was opened in 1519 by Veit Jakob Tänzl von Tratzberg in consultation with the Benediktbeuern monastery as fishing water with an area of 67 Tgw. created.
The federal road 472 runs directly on the south bank of the Stallauer Weiher. There is a campsite on its north bank.
The lake has good water quality and is suitable for swimming.
The lake with pike , walleye , sturgeon , Wallern , trout , grass fish , carp , tench , perch and several species of white fish occupied and used by anglers.
