The Stammecke , also called Stammecke-Bach , is a 1.6 km long, southwest and orographically left tributary of the Ruhr near Niedersfeld in the North Rhine-Westphalian Hochsauerlandkreis .

The trunk corner rises and runs in the Rothaargebirge . Its source is east of the saddle between Hohem Hagen ( 729 m ) and a 710.7 m ( ⊙ ) high and nameless mountain at about 658 m above sea level. NHN in Huckeshohl . The stream mainly flows in a north-easterly direction, first through forest-lined and then through agricultural areas. Finally it flows into the village of Niedersfeld , a northern district of Winterberg , at around 506 m above sea level. NHN in the Ruhr.
With a height difference of 152 m, the mean bottom slope of the trunk corner is 95 ‰. Its catchment area of around 1,832 km² is drained to the North Sea via the Ruhr and Rhine .
