Stanisław Gąsienica-Daniel (born March 6, 1951 in Zakopane ) is a former Polish ski jumper .

Career

On February 4, 1970 Gąsienica-Daniel was Polish champion of the Średnia-Krokiew-normal hill in Zakopane . Only a few weeks later he won the bronze medal on the large hill at the Nordic World Ski Championships in Vysoké Tatry in 1970, behind Gari Napalkow and Jiří Raška . In March he was able to win the Polish championship title from the large hill in Wisła .

At the 1972 Winter Olympics in Sapporo , he reached 39th place on the normal hill and 31st place on the large hill. His last international tournament played Stanisław Gąsienica Daniel with the Four Hills Tournament 1972/73 , in which he was unsuccessful and only achieved lower placements. In Polish Championships he took part recently in February 1978th
