Stasys Eidrigevičius (born July 24, 1949 in Mediniškiai , Pakruojis Rajongemeinde ) is a Lithuanian graphic artist, painter and photographer .

Life

The family of Stasys Eidrigevičius moved to Lepšiai in the district of Panevėžys in 1956 . From 1964 to 1968 he attended a technical college for leather goods design in Kaunas . He then studied until 1973 at the Pedagogical Faculty of the Institute of Fine Arts of Lithuania in Vilnius . In 1974 he was called up for compulsory service in the Soviet Army .

Poland he visited in 1972 for the first time at the invitation of Exlibrissammlers Edmund Puzdrowski from Bydgoszcz (Bromberg) . He married in Poland in 1976 and had 4 children, but it was not until 1980 that he was granted permanent residence in the country.

Stasys Eidrigevičius is artistically active in several fields and designs posters, illustrates books, paints pictures, designs stage sets, photographs, organizes performances. He is also an employee of the news magazine Polityka .
