Super steady shot

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Super SteadyShot (SSS) (or SteadyShot INSIDE) is an image stabilization process in digital cameras from Sony . After the takeover of the camera division of Konica Minolta by Sony , the system originally was anti shake system (AS) was renamed. In the case of the Sony α900 digital SLR camera presented in 2008, the system was simply called SteadyShot (camera labeling)for the first timeand wasadvertisedas SteadyShot Inside (SSI).

Minolta (from 2004 Konica Minolta ) developed a system based on so-called CCD shift technology, whereby the CCD / CMOS (EXMOR) chip itself is moved.

Konica Minolta Dimage A2 with Anti Shake System

The Anti Shake system was developed by Minolta for the first time in the Dimage A1 integrated (2003) and after the merger of Konica and Minolta in different models of the Dimage used series. This is particularly the case with the all-in-one cameras of the Dimage A series and some superzoom cameras of the Dimage Z series, the latter with focal lengths of up to 420 mm. With the Dynax 7D , Konica Minolta was the first manufacturer to bring a digital SLR camera onto the market with an image stabilization system integrated in the housing. The Dynax series from Konica Minolta will continue after Sony's takeover of the camera division.

SteadyShot is now also being used in some new smartphones from Sony's subsidiary Xperia . The Xperia Z2, for example, has an integrated SteadyShot function that can be used in video recordings, but it is not the same technology as that of the compact cameras.

Optical SteadyShot is used in Sony's external smartphone cameras and is found in both the Sony Qx10 and Sony Qx100 .
