Stebni ( Ukrainian Стебні ; Russian Стебни , Romanian Sălășeni, Stebni , German Stebne ) is a village in the west of the Ukrainian Chernivtsi Oblast with about 500 inhabitants (2001).
The village, founded in 1607, belongs administratively to the district council of Dowhopillja in the northwest of Putyla Rajon .
The village in the west of the historical Bukovina landscape is located in the valley of the Bilyj Cheremosh ("White Cheremosh") 2.5 km northeast of the Dowhopillja community center, about 14 km northwest of the Putyla district and about 100 km southwest of the Chernivtsi oblast center . On the opposite bank of the Bilyj Cheremosh in the Verkhovyna Raion of the Ivano-Frankivsk Oblast lies the village, also called Stebni .
The wooden Orthodox Church of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary is located in Stebni.
Territorial road T-26-01 runs through the village .
