Stefan Altmeyer

Stefan Altmeyer (born January 14, 1976 in Wadern ) is a German Roman Catholic theologian .

Life

After high school in 1995 at the Hochwald school Wadern he made from 1995 to 1996 the civil service , on therapeutic farms Wadern Nunkirchen . From 1996 to 2001 he studied Catholic religion, mathematics and educational science (1st state examination SI + II) at the Rheinische Friedrich-Wilhelms-Universität Bonn . From 1998 to 2001 he was a student assistant at Gottfried Bitter's seminar for religious education in Bonn . From 1999 to 2005 he was a scholarship holder of the basic and graduate funding of the Cusanuswerk Episcopal Study Fund . From 2002 to 2005 he was a doctoral student in Catholic theology at the University of Bonn (day of the oral examination June 8, 2005). From 2002 to 2004 he was a research assistant at the Department of Religious Education at the University of Bonn with Joachim Theis . From 2004 to 2005 Altmeyer had lectureships in the department of Catholic theology at the University of Siegen . Since 2005 he has been a research assistant at the seminar for religious education at the University of Bonn with Reinhold Boschki . Since 2005 he has taught at the Institute for Catholic Theology at the University of Cologne (teacher training for all teaching posts). From 2006 to 2008 he was a part-time religion teacher at the Beethoven-Gymnasium Bonn . Since 2007 he has been doing a higher education didactic training (2009: Certificate of University Didactics). From 2008 to 2014 he was a member of the board of the AKRK (Working Group on Catholic Religious Education and Catechetics). Since 2008 he has been a member of the ISREV (International Seminar on Religious Education and Values). Since 2008 he has been a member of the Editorial Advisory Board of the Religious Education Journal of Australia (REJA). After habilitation he taught from 2016 as a professor of religious education , catechetics and Fachdidaktik religion at the Catholic Theological Faculty of the Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz .
