Stefan Hermann (born December 27, 1970 in Leonberg ) is a German cook and restaurateur.

Career

After training at Schloss Höfingen in Höfingen , Hermann went to the Schlosshotel Kurfürstliches Amtshaus in Daun in 1990 and to Harald Wohlfahrt's three-star restaurant Schwarzwaldstuben in Baiersbronn in 1992 . In 1993 the Waldhotel Sonnora followed with Helmut Thieltges in Dreis . In 1994 he moved to the Regent Hotel in London , before returning to the Black Forest rooms in 1995 . In 1997 he went to the Caroussel in Dresden as head chef .

In 2006 he became the patron and head chef at bean & beluga in Dresden , which will be awarded a Michelin star and 17 points in Gault Millau until it closes in 2019 - most recently with chef Marcus Langer. In 2009 he leased the concert space in the Weißer Hirsch forest park . In September 2013 he also took over the bar-restaurant William in the Dresden theater .

In May 2015 he also took over the Hotel Villa Sorgefrei with the Atelier Sanssouci restaurant . In November 2016, Stefan Hermann was awarded the title of Gastronom of the Year by the Gault & Millau restaurant guide .

In February 2019, his Atelier Sanssouci restaurant was also awarded a Michelin star under chef Marcel Kube . In August 2019 he had to close the star restaurant bean & beluga because the lease was about to expire.
