Stefan Ingvarsson

Stefan Ingvarsson ( Stefan Ulf Arne Ingvarsson; born December 14, 1946 in Värnamo ; † March 4, 2017 ibid.) Was a Swedish walker .

In 1966 he came at the European Athletics Championships in Budapest in 20 km walking on 15th place.

At the 1968 Olympic Games in Mexico City, he finished eighth in the 20 km walk and gave up in the 50 km walk .

In 1969 he was sixth in the 50 km walk and ninth in the 20 km walk at the European Championships in Athens . Two years later he finished ninth in the 50 km walk and 18th in the 20 km walk at the European Championships in Helsinki .

At the Olympic Games in Munich in 50 km walking and at the European Championship 1974 in Rome in 50 km walking , he came in 15th place.

Four times he was Swedish champion in 20 km walking (1969-1972), three times in 10,000 m walking (1969–1971) and twice each in 50 km walking (1971, 1976) and in 5000 m walking (1969, 1970).
