Stefan Neuhaus

Stefan Neuhaus (born March 26, 1965 in Wimbern ) is a German German philologist and has been a professor at the University of Koblenz-Landau , Koblenz campus since 2012 .

Life

From 1986 to 1991 Neuhaus studied German, journalism / communication science and political science at the universities of Bamberg , where he also received his doctorate and habilitation , and in Leeds . Neuhaus first worked as a professor in 1999 at the University of the South in Sewanee . In 2003/04 he was Professor of Modern German Literature at the Carl von Ossietzky University of Oldenburg (initially as a substitute). He received an honorary doctorate in Gothenburg. In 2004 he was appointed professor for literary criticism, literature mediation and media / applied literary studies in Innsbruck. In addition to his work as a university lecturer, Neuhaus publishes regularly at literaturkritik.de and in der Furche (Vienna). He is also a member of various Germanic societies and secretary of the Ernst Toller Society . Since 2003, Neuhaus and Oliver Jahraus have published the Film - Medium - Discourse series published by Königshausen & Neumann (Würzburg). 84 volumes had been published by spring 2017.
