Stefan Olschewski

Stefan Olschewski (born October 11, 1975 in Gelsenkirchen ) is a German game designer .

Life

After studying theater studies at the Ruhr University in Bochum , Olschewski worked in the press office of a games publisher until 2004, where he discovered his love for games and their development. Today Olschewski works full time in marketing in a software company in Münsterland and works part time as a game designer , freelance journalist and mentalist . In addition to his stage shows, Olschewski also appears as a keynote speaker and gives insights into the basics of body language , lie detection, NLP and mnemonics in interactive infotainment lectures . From 2011 to 2016 he was editor-in-chief of the members' magazine Magie des Magischen Zirkels von Deutschland eV

  • In 2006 he published his first children's game with the title Affentheater , which was put on the list of recommendations for the children's game of the year by the Game of the Year jury .
  • For his journalistic activities, he was in 2006 for his radio report about the game Pirate's Cove along with two other individuals with the prize money totaling 1,000 euros Journalist Award ALEX awarded by the Games Designer Association (SAZ) awards annually for outstanding journalism.
  • At the German Championships of Magic of the Magical Circle of Germany, he was "German Vice Champion of Mental Magic 2011" with his mind reading performance.
