Stefan Schwabeneder (born May 23, 1969 in Augsburg ) is a German radio presenter and Head of Comedy at the radio station Antenne Bayern .

Life

Stefan Schwabeneder is married and has two sons.

Radio

Stefan Schwabeneder started as a presenter at Radio Fantasy in Augsburg and moderated there between 1987 and 1992. At the same time, he set up “Fantasy's Finest” - a syndication chart show that was adopted on some Bavarian radio stations, from which the “Network Charts” later developed . He then switched to Radio Gong 96.3 in Munich between 1992 and 1995 , where he moderated the lunchtime program “Funkkantine” and “Start ins Glück” on Sundays. He was also in the Gong newsroom and producer of the "6 to 9" show with Oliver Baier . From 1995 to 1998 Schwabeneder moderated the morning show "Frühstüxradio" on Radio Fantasy in Augsburg with Alexander Wohlrab . The next stations were the ORF Hitradio Ö3 in Vienna as program designer, author and producer, Antenne Bayern and Klassik Radio in Hamburg , where he was program manager for classical radio programs throughout Germany from 2004 to 2006. Schwabeneder has been working in the comedy department of Bayern 3 since 2006 and moderated “Schwabeneder & Friends - the big Saturday evening show” there from 2008 to May 2013. After this was replaced by the "Party Hit Mix", he hosted the satirical program "Die Stefans" on Saturdays from May 2013 to the end of 2018 together with Stefan Kreutzer . On January 1, 2019, he took over the position of Head of Comedy at the radio station Antenne Bayern.

Trivia

Stefan Schwabeneder has been performing live on site as a court jester in costume since 2009 through the children's knight tournament at the Kaltenberg knight tournament .
