Stefan Telegdy (* in the 20th century ) is a German director and producer of commercials and feature films.

Life

Telegdy appeared in the 1980s as the singer for the band Inbase . The band only released one single Christine , which Telegdy recorded with Andreas von Holst , the guitarist of the band Die Toten Hosen , among others .

Stefan Telegdy began his professional career in the advertising industry, initially as a photographer, later he worked as a copywriter and soon founded his own agency with partners. In addition, he was busy building a European creative network for the Havas . As the owner of the multimedia agency WYSIWYG and CCO of Rempen & Partner at the time, he was involved in the development and introduction of the world's first online magazine, Spiegel Online .

He has been directing himself since the mid-1990s and has received several awards for his commercials. For the band Die Toten Hosen, Telegdy shot the music video for Schön Sein from the album Immortal in 1999 . In 1996 Telegdy founded the Munich Embassy of Dreams Filmproduktions GmbH together with Helmut Hartl and directed, among other things, commercials for Beck’s , Warsteiner , C&A , Vodafone and Braun .

Besides Hartl and Bettina Brokemper, he has also been a partner in the Cologne-based company Heimatfilm since 2003 . The name arose from the desire to "give feature films a home". Among other things, the company produced the Swedish youth film Sweet Mud , which was awarded the Transparent Bear in 2006 , the multi-award-winning Israeli film Lemon Tree in 2008 , the Turkish feature film Bal - Honig , which won the Golden Bear at the 2010 Berlinale , and the film Hannah Arendt , the Was awarded the Bavarian Film Prize in 2012 and was nominated for the German Film Prize in 2013.
