Steffen Ernemann (born April 26, 1982 in Denain , France ) is a German - Danish soccer player . The midfielder has been under contract with Norwegian first division club Viking Stavanger since 2017 .

Career

Ernemann made his professional debut in 2002 in the second Danish division at Aarhus GF . Previously, he played in the club's youth department. After a few missions, he decided to switch to league rivals AC Horsens in the summer of the following year . He stayed there for four years and played quite successfully with his new club. In 2004/05 the team reached the semi-finals of the Landspokalturneringen , as well as the second place in the league, which was synonymous with promotion to the super league . After two years in the Danish first division, he moved to Silkeborg IF .

In the summer of 2009 he finally moved to SV Zulte Waregem in Belgium. There he made his league debut in the Jupiler League on October 31, 2009, on matchday 13, in a 2-2 draw against RSC Charleroi . At that time, Ernemann came on for Chris Makiese in the 74th minute . Two days earlier he was already used in the competition for the national cup, against KSK Ronse , where he scored his first goal for the new team shortly after being substituted on. From then on he came to more missions. Finally, he helped the team to stay in the league. In the summer, however, he was loaned to the relegated KSV Roeselare , where he played a good season and as a midfielder was the second best scorer of his club. After a year he decided to return to Denmark and signed with the relegated and second division club Esbjerg fB . From 2013 to 2017 Ernemann played for the Norwegian first division side Sarpsborg 08 FF and then joined Viking Stavanger .
