The Steinberg in the district of Tüngeda in the West Thuringian Wartburg district is 362.1  m above sea level. NHN high elevation of the Great Harth .

The Steinberg is located on the border between Hainich and the Thuringian Basin . It is located between Tüngeda (part of the municipality of Hörselberg-Hainich ) in the south-west and Grumbach in the north-northeast and Wiegleben in the east-south-east (both districts of Bad Langensalza ). About 850 m northeast of its summit is the easternmost point of the Wartburg district on the border with the Unstrut-Hainich district . The Elbe-Weser watershed runs over the elevation .
